SMCP Donates Original Hardy Family Scrapbook to University of Mary Hardin Baylor Alumni Association!

“Today we received a special gift from the Salado Museum and College Park presented by Dave Swarthout, Executive Director. This original scrapbook from the Hardy family celebrates the life of former president, Dr. John C. Hardy with original photos, an original program from the Grand Opening of Baylor Female College when we moved to Belton in 1886, and photos and newspapers from his funeral. Having this piece of history is another way that we get to celebrate our story.” – UMHB Alumni Association
