Renowned treasure hunter and anthropologist Cody Drake returns to the Salado Museum with Arizona Treasures, historic artifacts that he recently uncovered in Arizona. Activities during the event include a display and description of the artifacts by Mr. Drake and a treasures hunt for the children. Refreshments available for purchase.

Having been born in Amarillo, Texas, and raised in southern Arizona, Cody Drake has been steeped in the history and in the tradition of exploring the lost treasures of the Southwest since the age of eight. His presentation of the incredible artifacts he has discovered while hunting in Salado Creek is both entertaining and educational. This is definitely an event for the entire family.
Cody Drake, known nationally as the Arizona Treasure Hunter, is formally educated in anthropology and experienced in archaeology and paleontology. Through years of research, exploration and hard-won field experience, he has become what is known as a professional treasure hunter and gold and mineral wealth prospector.
Cody is also is a trained desert survivalist with an existing record of 58 days of full survival. He has actively worked on numerous excavation and historic sites, appeared on news and television programs, and is currently awaiting the publication of his book on Southwestern treasure hunting and desert survival.
