You are invited to the opening reception on March 8 th from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Salado Museum featuring artist Jill Shipman. The museum is located at 423 South Main Street, Salado. The exhibit will run from March 8th through April 8th . The normal museum hours are 10:00 – 4:00 Monday through Saturday.

“It is never too late to follow your dreams.”
One of Jill Shipman’s dreams is to finish her degree and graduate before her last grandchild graduates. Her youngest is a senior at A & M. Jill enrolled in an accelerated four semester Art Institute and will finish in May. One of the requirements to graduate is to produce a portfolio of 20 to 30 paintings. These paintings will be on display the month of March. “This has been a wonderful experience but very challenging at times with the most challenging being an assignment to produce 100 paintings in three days. Rest assured these will not be on display.”
