Grady Lewis Newton Exhibit

New Year, New Exhibit!

We are honored to be hosting an exhibit of the artwork of Grady Lewis Newton. Come visit your Salado Museum to see this amazing collection!

Grady Lewis Newton was born in Abilene, grew up in Lubbock, and has lived in Salado for the past 22 years. He played basketball for the Texas Tech Red Raiders 1972-76. He was a coach and English teacher at Lubbock Monterey, Frenship High School, and Salado High School. After his first retirement, he returned to the Salado Middle School to teach English as a second language for more than ten years. Grady started teaching himself to paint about 22 years ago and has rarely painted two paintings that are even similar. He enjoys time with his family, loves to travel, and likes to see others enjoy his work.
